This Old Mill Park wedding has made this location one of my new favorites. A gorgeous venue that needs very little decor because it’s already so beautiful!
This Old Mill Park Wedding was a perfect blend of elegance and natural beauty nestled in the heart of Mill Valley. The ceremony site is surrounded by towering trees, offering a sense of intimacy and tranquility. There really isn’t much need for a lot of decorations, as the location itself is so beautiful!
The bride spent a lot of time planning the wedding, and I love that she picked this location. She also wanted to make sure photography was a priority, and added additional time for portraits, which makes a huge difference! Often times weddings run behind schedule and I end up with 30 minutes to do all the family photographs, wedding party, and the bride and groom photographs, which is not a lot of time. This Bride was super organized and we ended up having a lot of things in common, including our hair/makeup artist for our wedding (who I highly recommend by the way)!
After the ceremony, we headed over to the Outdoor Art Club, also in Mill Valley, where the couple had their reception. The Outdoor Art Club is an intimate venue that has rustic, yet elegant, feel to it. It also helps that it is right down the street from Old Mill Park. Dreams on a dine did a fabulous job of decorating and planning this wedding. They were the planners for a previous wedding I shot at the Outdoor Art Club, which was equally as amazing. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a planner!
After shooting this Old Mill Park wedding, this park has become one of my favorite places for portrait sessions. It’s just such a beautiful place and as you will see, and an excellent choice for a ceremony!
